Halle Berry cuts a sexy figure in a hip-hugging dress at Keep A Child Alive’s 2009 Black Ball at Hammerstein Ballroom on Thursday (October 15) in New York City.
The 43-year-old actress, who was accompanied by boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, wore a slashed black strapless micro sequin dress by Kaufman Franco. The night was dedicated to helping children and families in Africa and India with HIV/AIDS.

Halle Berry in talks for Surrogate

The “Monster’s Ball” actress is in talks to star in the thriller for 20th Century Fox.
The move follows Paul Verhoeven's boarding to develop and direct the thriller, which Ralph Winter is producing along with Deborah Giarratana, Robin Guthrie and Susana Zepeda.
Based on the 2004 book by Kathryn Mackel, the story centers on a couple desperate to have a child who find themselves in an unbearable position when they find out the surrogate they hired to carry their baby is insane.

Halle Berry with her daughter Nahla Ariela were unhappy to see photographers outside Barefoot restaurant on 3rd Street after having lunch with a friend. Halle also whispered derogatory comments towards us, it was something to the tune of, “this is getting crazy now.” When Nahla started crying she covered her up and made a brief trot for the car looking more irritated.
