Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly considering a new offer from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli despite Chelsea’s latest bid.
Al-Ahli have made a second offer to the Nigerian striker, according to Ufabet Sport Italia, with Gianluca Di Marzio claiming the Saudi Arabian side are willing to offer a four-year contract worth €30m per season.
Last weekend reports suggested Al Ahly were preparing a €70m offer to Napoli to sign Osimhen, almost halving his €130m release clause.
The player and his agent are now assessing offers and considering their best course of action. Napoli remain adamant they will close the deal before the market closes this week.
The offer from Saudi Arabia comes after Chelsea renewed interest in him.
Victor Osimhen has been left out of Napoli’s squad for Saturday’s match against Parma – with reports claiming the forward’s relationship with the Serie A club is now “completely broken” after a deadline day move to Chelsea fell through.
Earlier this week, the 25-year-old looked poised to end the longstanding speculation around his future and sign for Chelsea, two seasons after he helped Napoli win a first Scudetto in over 30 years.
Reports on Tuesday night suggested the Premier League side are prepare to offer Osimhen personal terms similar to those he is offer under his current contract with Napoli, which is worth around €10m per season.
Chelsea are also willing to pay around the same ยูฟ่าเบท price as Al-Ahli is offering, which is around €70m.
